Iftar Gatherings During Rajab and Sha`ban 2024 Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah! Greetings from the iftar gatherings of the three sacred months! Throughout the months of Rajab and Sha`ban, Aspire Academy students gathered repeatedly to break their fasts. These communal meals fostered a strong spiritual connection, strengthening their sense of Muslim identity and enhancing their contemplation on gratitude and worship towards Allah.

Atlanta Academic Breakfast 2024 We organized a breakfast event that brought together university students in Atlanta and our academic professors. The program involved pairing each professor with a student and establishing a route for their meetings. Additionally, a Discord group was set up to facilitate ongoing communication and discussions. Towards the end of the program, the professors conducted short, one-on-one sessions with the students, providing mentorship and guidance on academic and career-related matters. Southeast University Convention 2024 The program we organized throughout the Southeast took place at two different universities. It was attended by university students and 12th-grade students, generating significant interest. The program was successfully held at Georgia Tech and Emory University. Harvard graduate Esat Bayar, Professor Dr. Zeynep Işık from Bowman University, and Gareth Young, M.A. Oxford University graduate, participated in the program as distinguished speakers. Southeast University Boys Winter Camp 2024 The camp we organized throughout the region was attended by university students and 12th-grade high school friends. Over the course of 5 days, our youth engaged in reading books and participated in motivational discussions. They received Quran lessons and took part in various activities. Together, they enjoyed fantastic meals. During the program, awards were given to the youth who achieved their goals. High School Girls Fall Camp 2023 Spring Educational Services – Last Saturday, Southeast HS Girls gathered together for a day full of spiritual activities! The program kicked off with breakfast and included discussions on religious text and articles and outdoor activities. Throughout each semester, gatherings are planned for students, emphasizing the importance of seeking meaning and having spiritual wellbeing. Creating a space where ideas are welcome and perspectives are shared allow the participants to have a phenomenal learning experience!

Girls Mawlid Gathering 2023 We had a nice evening where we came together with our middle school students for the night of mawlid, remembered our Prophet with salawat, then chatted together and celebrated our Prophet’s birthday.

Homeschool Girls Camp 2023 We held our first one-day-long camp with our home school girls on September 23. Our camp started with breakfast followed by reading and other religious programs. We ended the camp by having marshmallows over the fire and an outdoor movie night With the excitement of our girls’ first camp, they completed their goals and received their gifts.

Dua Discussion September 2023 We had a discussion held by Kemal Korucu at the Cultural Center with our high school girls. The topic discussed was “The Types of Dua in Islam”, and it was a pleasant conversation with active participation from everyone.

Boys Southeast Mentor Training 2023 Before the start of the new academic year, we have completed a 2-day onsite Mentor Training Program for our mentors into becoming effective mentors. The Mentor Training included lectures and workshops that focused on explaining the important role a mentor plays in guiding, training, advising, and motivating the mentee to grow in both their academic and spiritual development. In the workshops, we talked with our mentors interactively in order to increase the efficiency of mentor programs, both academically and spiritually. Aspire Homeschool Open House 2023 On August 5, the Open House program of Aspire Academy, which operates as Altantada Homeschool, was held. At this special event, our parents had the opportunity to meet our teachers, mentors and administrators. In the new academic year, the courses and planned mentoring programs waiting for our students were presented.
